will have a couple big games next year, so will 360, why does everyone keep saying 2008 will be the PS3s year? They may sell a few more consoles when MGS4 drops but that is certainly not going to change the course of the conflict between MS and Sony, no one or two games can do that, if one game could do it then that game would have been Halo3, and the would mean MS has already won this generation, but they have not.

and the thing is, most of the serious audio visual folks I know dont want a rediculus looking PS3 in their entertainment setup as the Bluray player. But they need to get past the look and realize the PS3 has better features and is updateable via ethernet. Sadly for Sony however, you can now buy standalone players for less than 400 bux, thus taking the only good reason to buy a PS3 away for many folks.
I would not buy a standalone BR player. They are super slow and lack features, especially compared to standalone HDDVD players, if you want Bluray you should go with a PS3, who the F wants to wait 5 minutes just for the movie to load after you hit play, stand alone bluray is crap.

This is one more reason not to buy a PS3, the games have far less value. Only 9hours long, no online, no DLC, and no achievments. All these things in 360 games add to what you are getting for your money. Get with the times Sony, before you are left completely behind.
